Thank you for making a reservation with us.
This is Kamome Guesthouse, located in Ishinomaki City.
Our accommodation is a guesthouse that utilizes a standalone house.
We would like to provide you with information on the check-in and check-out process, as well as the use of our facilities.

1. Location

Location of the Guesthouse

1-4-10 Izumi-cho, Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Prefecture

If you are arriving by car, there is a free parking space available on the premises (up to 2 vehicles).
To ensure smooth parking, we recommend reserving in advance.
In case the parking lot is full, we will guide you to a nearby paid parking facility.
(Please note that parking fees will be at your own expense.)


2. how to check-in (self check-in)

Check-in is conducted using a self-service system, so there is no need to notify us upon arrival.
Please enter through the entrance and proceed directly to your room.

■ STEP 1
Enter through the main entrance.
Note: There is no need to use the doorbell.

Shoes are not allowed inside.
Please remove your footwear before entering the house.

Note: There is a cat on the premises. Please ensure the cat does not go outside.
(As shown in the photo, the cat may try to go outside.)

■ STEP 2
Please go directly in front of the entrance and proceed to guest room (No. 3) at the back of the 1st floor.
The door is not locked, so please feel free to enter.

There are two beds, a double bed and a single bed (loft).
Futons will be provided for 3 or more guests.

■ STEP 3
Please fill in your name, address, and other required information on the guest list (customer registry) provided on the table.

That completes the check-in process.


3. how to check-out (self check-out)

There is no need to call or notify the staff.
You may leave freely at your convenience.

Check-out Time: 10:00 AM

■ STEP 1
Turn off all lights and air conditioning switches.

■ STEP 2
Check for any personal belongings before leaving the room and the house.

That completes the check-out process.

4. Facilities

Guesthouse Facilities

  • Free Wi-Fi: Available throughout the property.
  • Shared Kitchen: Fully equipped for guests to prepare their own meals.
  • Shared Bathrooms: only shower.
  • Living Room: Comfortable space for relaxation.
  • Laundry: Washing machine(no dry).
  • Air Conditioning/Heating: In all guest rooms and shared spaces.
  • Cat: Our resident cat is friendly but please ensure it stays inside.

These are the main facilities available to ensure a comfortable and pleasant stay at our guesthouse.


5. Locking and Going Out

Locking and Going Out

  • Room Locking:
    Please make sure to lock the door when you leave your room for security purposes.
    The doors are not locked by default, but we recommend using the lock when you are away.
  • Leaving the Property:
    If you are going out, ensure the entrance door is securely locked when you leave.
  • Cat:
    Please do not let the cat outside when you are leaving the house. Ensure the cat is safely inside.

The keys are basic, so please make sure to take your valuables with you when you leave the room. For your security, we recommend not leaving any important items behind.
If you will be arriving late, please inform us through the reservation app. This helps us ensure we are prepared for your arrival.


6. Toilet/Bathroom Usage

Shared Bathrooms:
The toilet and bathroom facilities are shared among guests. Please be considerate of others and limit the time spent in the bathroom when it is busy.

Toilet:
Please ensure the toilet is left clean after use. If you notice any issues, kindly inform the staff.

In the toilet, bathroom, and changing area, there are “Available” and “In Use” signs.
Please flip the plate to change the status as needed to help maintain proper usage.

This helps ensure that everyone can use the facilities efficiently and without confusion. Thank you for your cooperation!

Toilet:

The toilets in the facility are eco-friendly, using a simple flushing system with a waste tank (not connected to the sewer system).
Please note that the toilets do not have a bidet (washlet) function.

To flush, pull the lever towards you, and the waste will drop down into the tank.
Please be mindful of water usage, and kindly leave the toilet clean after use.


7. staff

The staff(the staff are not only hosts, but sometimes they also have lodgers as co-hosts.) is located on the first floor.
There may be times when the staff is temporarily unavailable or resting, so please contact us via phone or the app if needed.


8. Cat

Cat on the Premises

There is a cat at the facility named Aka (AKA).
She may occasionally visit your room.
If she enters, please leave the door slightly open so she can return to the first-floor restroom or her water station.

Please make sure she does not go outside. Aka may try to exit when the front door is opened.
Your cooperation in keeping her indoors is greatly appreciated. (=^・^=)
